About keleya
Shape a new digital birth preparation course with us.
You are a midwife who wants to empower pregnant people and families with your knowledge — modern, practical and with a lot of heart? Then you are a great fit for us.
keleya is a digital health platform for pregnant people and new parents. Since our founding in 2017 we have been dedicated to providing the best possible support throughout pregnancy, birth and the first months with a baby. We have accompanied over 1 million users and work closely with partners such as leading health insurers and the German Midwives Association. Together we built ammely — a leading midwife search platform in Germany.
We are currently developing a new digital birth preparation course for the keleya app that prepares people honestly, clearly and confidently for birth and the time after. For this project we are looking for a midwife to contribute clinical expertise, experience and perspective to a modern digital course — both on camera and in content conception.
Your role
As an expert you will:
- Support people through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period
- Convey medical knowledge calmly, understandably and without fear
- Be part of an interdisciplinary expert team (midwives, physicians, mental-health experts)
Your tasks
- Contribute to the content conception of the birth preparation course (~12 hours of course material)
- Collaborate on writing texts and scripts with our internal medical and content experts
- Record short video formats (approx. 2–7 minutes) and audio content (e.g., breathing, mental preparation, calming)
- Provide clinical context and quality assurance for the content
Profile
- State-recognised midwife
- Several years of professional experience (hospital, birth centre or freelance), including experience teaching birth preparation courses
- Calm, empathetic and appreciative communication
- Openness toward all birth paths (vaginal, caesarean, intervention, out-of-hospital, medicated)
- Reflective, non-dogmatic attitude
- All age groups are welcome
Ideally you also bring
- Initial on-camera or media/online experience
- Enjoy structuring and co-developing content
- Confidence in speaking freely, or willingness to develop this skill
What matters to us
- Evidence-based content rather than ideology
- Inclusive language and perspectives
- No single "This is how birth must be" approach
- Respectful and supportive interaction
What we offer
- Meaningful project with wide reach
- Collaborative work in a respectful, professional team
- Fair compensation
- High visibility as an expert in an established health app
