At Elekta, we don9t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As Release Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing release projects within Neuro Solutions, all the way from idea to release.
This includes planning, coordinating and follow-up activities within the project to ensure successful execution and effective communication both within the project organization and outside the project with stakeholders and collaborating functions.
You will manage release projects and coordinate activities in a cross-functional team to meet agreed business objectives as well as the quality and regulatory standards required for medical products used for high-precision brain treatments.

Responsibilities

In addition to the above, the Release Project Manager will also take on responsibilities such as:
  • Leading project teams to effectively execute project plans and achieve objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to create project plans that support organizational goals and roadmaps.
  • Creating, maintaining and communicating clear release targets and detailed plans to contributing teams, to build and maintain shared goals and focus on the organization.
  • Presenting release project status, risks and well-prepared alternatives for decision making in appropriate steering groups.
  • Providing input to the agile planning mechanisms on required deliveries, milestones and resource needs to achieve the release project timelines.
  • Driving and contributing to continuous improvements of procedures, mechanisms and way-of-working in product development projects.

What you bring

To be successful in this role as Release Project Manager, we believe that you have:
  • A University Degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in project management, release management and agile development.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Leadership capabilities to engage, deliver, improve & lead.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience from product development in medical industry will be considered an advantage.
