Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction site projects, from initiation to execution and completion. They meticulously plan, direct and manage the project, ensuring it stays on budget and schedule within the Order Fulfilment Project Delivery Department in ASEAN+. This includes all Project Delivery activities from project management to clinical go live. The activities consist of but are not limited to project administration, site readiness and project management.
The Project Manager needs to achieve key results in Revenue and Customer Loyalty. He/She is responsible for accurate and timely revenue tracking and forecasting for all Elekta solutions to customers along with the responsibility to deliver high client satisfaction at the completion of project delivery. The position will promote the proper and efficient use of project management techniques and tools by the department. He/She is responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue, expense and all Order Fulfilment efficiency targets.
The Project Manager negotiates with customers, hospitals, rigging companies, construction companies, or any third-party companies involved in the project to maintain both Elekta project schedules and customer commitments mutually beneficial. He/She also works closely with internal sales, logistics, installation, application, and service departments with efficient communication and proper handover between different parties.
As a task-oriented, flexible and driven person, you should possess professional qualifications in Project and Site Management or extensive knowledge in the medical field. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are needed together with the ability to identify stakeholders and solicit support as the Unity program progresses into the next stages of commercialization in the global market.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project management by creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Responsible to take control of all projects in Thailand.
  • Responsible for pre-sales project management if needed.
  • Drive efficiency and improvement programs identified by self or company.
  • Accountable for Elekta’s Customer and Employee Loyalty Culture, closed loop processes and related process improvements within the department.
  • Continuous good communication internally (department heads, functional heads and Product Supply Centers) and externally (distributors, suppliers and customers).
  • Providing a Weekly Site report and leading Project meetings with related parties.
  • Direct communication to each related project team.
  • Overview of revenue execution and drive possible ways to achieve the target.
  • Controlling Health and Safety for all staff related to onsite working (site readiness adjustment) based on each issue.
  • Follow strictly Elekta Compliance and Policy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • 70% travel expected within Thailand or APAC based on requirement.

Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Engineering fields (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or related)
  • Management skill and team player
  • Understanding of radiotherapy and neuroscience solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of handling large scale projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers directly and lead key account projects.
  • Excellent time management, organization, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated. Determination to succeed.
  • Project Management experience with medical software or hardware implementation is considered an asset and is preferred.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years of revenue management and forecasting experience.
  • Familiar with Windows, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • AutoCAD and Sketchup operating program are a plus.
  • Forecast and strategy driving mindset.
  • Able to work under pressure especially with more than 5 parties (Internal and External).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Science, engineering, medical or technically related university degree holder or above. Project management qualification is preferred.
