About the Role

Innovaccer is growing, and M&A is a key pillar of our growth strategy. Our acquisitions are strategically aligned to enhance Innovaccer’s core solutions and accelerate entry into new markets. We are seeking a Senior Associate-M&A Integration who will play a critical role in integrating newly acquired companies. This role involves working closely with target companies from the time a Definitive Agreement is signed through a 9–12 month integration period, ensuring a smooth transition into Innovaccer’s operations. The goal is to align these companies with Innovaccer’s business model so they can deliver measurable business value.
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role, as we are pursuing multiple acquisitions. You will be responsible for bridging the acquired company’s executive leadership with Innovaccer’s cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales. A key part of the role is to help the cross functional leadership team make key decisions like how will we operate the acquired company, Org structure, integration level, sales and GTM alignment, product complementing and unified engineering roadmap. Your work will be instrumental in driving company performance, strengthening organizational capabilities, and ensuring seamless integrations that maximize the value of our acquisitions.

A Day in the Life

Develop the integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and act as a champion of the vision of the integration and program management structure
Create a repeatable Integration Management playbook to plan the integration process for upcoming acquisitions
Drive integration efforts and understand the acquired company’s business, competition, and industry trends
Prepare a Day 1 plan for smooth integration start
Develop a communication plan for employees and stakeholders of both companies
Understand historical and forecasted financial performance and combined entity performance
Track metrics, OKRs, and cadence to measure success
Plan and conduct Integration Team Kickoff Meeting with functional integration leaders
Brief acquired management and employees on integration process and impact
Escalate issues for senior-level resolution
Manage interdependencies between functions, prioritize and sequence activities
Evaluate and mitigate integration risks
Ensure exit criteria are met
Document handoffs to business line leaders post-transition
Capture lessons learned and recommendations for future acquisitions
Plan and define key corporate OKRs, supporting metrics, and templates for reviews
Drive business reporting around OKRs and key initiatives
Work closely with Org heads and Ops leads as a key partner
Analyze market opportunities and operational trends to introduce best practices and industry tools
Streamline cross functional processes to improve business operations
Support category reporting and drive cross functional initiatives with Org heads and Ops teams

What You Need

Experience at a high tech company with acquisition integration or consulting experience in M&A diligence, process, and integration is highly desired
High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar experience
Ability to manage projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders at different levels
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence
Strong leadership with team-oriented and collaborative approach
Ability to influence corporate opinion and make timely decisions
Big picture understanding with attention to detail
Organizational knowledge, motivational skills, and prioritization ability
Background in finance and business understanding is helpful
Global and US-based business experience preferred
