The Opportunity: Your Path to CBDO
We are looking for a strategic driver to take ownership of our international expansion. You will start by collaborating closely with our current Business Development Lead to spearhead growth outside the DACH region. The role has a clear mid-term trajectory to grow into Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) for candidates who demonstrate international impact and leadership.
Your Mission
You will be the key figure in taking imito’s success global: building and nurturing partner and customer relationships internationally and working closely with Product and Marketing to align our solutions with global market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive international expansion: identify new market segments and lead market-entry strategy.
- Build strategic ecosystems: establish and manage high-level partnerships with international hospital chains, HIS/EMR vendors, and research institutions.
- Generate revenue: acquire new customers and develop sales strategies tailored to international territories.
- Execute sales: plan and conduct sales meetings and product demonstrations for prospective international clients.
- Represent imito: act as the face of the company at major international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
- Collaborate: work with marketing to create sales materials and technical documentation that resonate with an international audience.
Requirements
- International health tech experience: several years selling digital solutions or managing partnerships in the healthcare sector across international markets.
- Future C-level mindset: a driven, hands-on leader able to work autonomously and think strategically about healthcare value chains.
- Technical fluency: deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, DICOM, MIO) and their global application.
- Education: degree in Medical Informatics, Medical Technology, or comparable qualification is an advantage.
- Languages: business fluent English (required); German skills highly valued for internal coordination; French is a plus.
