iATROS was founded with a clear mission: cardiovascular patients should regain their quality of life, feel safe again, and always know who to turn to for help.

Our vision is to return a sense of security to these patients, provide optimal early care, and ensure continuous rather than just occasional medical care.

We are a team of cardiologists, specialist doctors, telemedicine experts, and telemedicine professionals. The idea behind iATROS originates from our founder Prof. Dr. Alexander Leber, a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology at the Isar Heart Center in Munich: a product created by a doctor for his patients.

The founders, including the heart specialist Prof. Dr. med. Alexander Leber, telemedicine expert Dr. med. Georges von Degenfeld, and eHealth entrepreneur Patrick Palacin, established the Digital Heart Center iATROS in 2019. Their common goal is to ensure better medical care for heart patients around the clock at home and anywhere in the world.
