Digital Measurement & Analytics Expert (GA4)

15–20 hours per month (approx. 3-4 hours per week)
Location: UK, Remote
Retainer: £1,250 - £1,500 per month (Depending on experience)

Why Hertility?

Hertility provides preventative, personalised and expert reproductive healthcare through at‑home diagnostic testing, telemedicine, treatments, prescriptions and clinical services. The company has completed numerous clinical studies, published in leading journals and presented at international conferences. Hertility is mission‑driven to improve women’s health across the hormonal lifespan.

Why You’ll Love This Role

As a Digital Measurement & Analytics Expert you will architect and evolve our end‑to‑end tracking ecosystem, bridge marketing and product data, lead technical implementation for web and mobile, manage raw data modelling in BigQuery, and drive experimentation using A/B testing and behavioural analysis in Mixpanel. This role contributes directly to improving care and outcomes in women’s health.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Tracking Infrastructure & Governance
  • Hybrid Tagging: Maintain and optimise a dual‑container tracking ecosystem using Google Tag Manager client‑side and server‑side to ensure data accuracy and resilience to browser privacy restrictions.
  • Full‑Stack Marketing Tracking: Manage tracking for GA4, Google Ads, Meta (CAPI), TikTok, LinkedIn and Awin; implement new tracking as required.
  • Data Integrity: Serve as gatekeeper for data quality, ensuring tracking is maintained across website updates and new product releases.
2. Product Analytics & Behavioural Mapping (Mixpanel)
  • Behavioural Tracking: Architect and manage Mixpanel implementation across web and mobile to capture granular user actions (e.g., "Health Assessment Started", "Kit Registered").
  • Identity Stitching: Implement identity management to link anonymous visitors to logged‑in users for a unified lifecycle view.
  • Funnel & Cohort Analysis: Build and maintain product funnels to identify friction points and improve retention.
3. A/B Testing & Experimentation
  • Testing Framework: Lead technical setup and deployment of A/B and multivariate tests using tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or Mixpanel Experiments.
  • Statistical Analysis: Analyse experiment results to determine winning variations with focus on conversion lift, engagement and retention.
  • Deployment: Use GTM and feature flags to deploy experiments without impacting site performance or UX.
4. Advanced Analytics & Data Engineering
  • BigQuery Modelling: Develop and manage SQL models in BigQuery and Dataform for deep‑dive analysis on raw event data.
  • Unified Reporting: Create automated dashboards (Looker Studio / Mixpanel) to track engagement and conversion metrics across web and app.
  • All employees must work in alignment with Hertility’s Quality Management System and support compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 27001, following controlled processes and required training.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive if you’re passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:
  • Expert Proficiency: Google Tag Manager (client & server), GA4, and Mixpanel.
  • Technical Stack: Strong SQL for BigQuery and high proficiency in JavaScript for bespoke tracking and DOM manipulation.
  • Platform Knowledge: Experience managing Conversion APIs and pixels for major ad platforms.
  • Experimentation: Hands‑on experience designing and analysing A/B tests in a fast‑paced DTC or HealthTech environment.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Familiarity with GDPR/HIPAA considerations for handling sensitive health data in tracking environments.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a technical analytics role, ideally within a Shopify‑integrated or mobile‑app‑centric startup.

You will report to Lucy, VP of Growth, and collaborate with Jack (Head of Engineering), Lorna (Head of Data and AI) and the wider Growth & Marketing team.
