Your role

HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of psychological distress. Our programs cover areas including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorders and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Six out of ten of our applications have been approved as digital health applications and are available on prescription free of charge for insured adults in Germany.

Your tasks

As a Working Student in Patient Support (20 hours/week) you will support our Patient Support Team with tasks including:
  • Preparing progress reports on course progress for our participants
  • Sending progress reports to physicians and psychotherapists
  • Assisting with prescription services: entering and forwarding prescriptions to health insurers
  • Maintaining databases

Your profile

Must haves
  • Currently enrolled in a university psychology program (or similar) with at least one year of study remaining
  • Native-level German and fluent English (company language)
  • Reliability (including handling confidential information) and excellent organizational skills
Nice to haves
  • Initial experience with digital care offerings or in the (clinical) psychological field
  • First experience with organizational tasks

About us

HelloBetter was founded in 2015 (originally as GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH) by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. In more than 30 randomized controlled trials, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight problem areas in collaboration with universities and partners such as Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Harvard University.
Six of HelloBetter's therapy programs have been approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available on prescription free of charge for all insured adults. Our expert team's work has been published in international journals (including The Journal of the American Medical Association) and recognized with various awards.
The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and has more than 130 employees.
