Your Role

HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years, we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of psychological stress.

Our applications cover various areas including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol consumption, panic disorders, anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.

Currently, six of ten HelloBetter applications are approved as digital health applications and are available for free on prescription for all adult insured individuals.

In our Marketing Team, you actively participate in shaping our HelloBetter Blog. As a working student, you ensure psychological content is carefully researched, up-to-date, and transformed into engaging formats. This provides diverse insights into psychological topics and the marketing of digital health applications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Optimization of the HelloBetter Blog: Continuous improvement of our blog articles considering the latest scientific findings in mental health.
  • Creation of editorial content: Writing and preparing psychological content for different target groups and channels, especially for the HelloBetter Blog.
  • Supporting the editorial process: Assisting in planning, creating, revising, and publishing articles with SEO-relevant aspects.
  • Process optimization using AI-supported approaches: Collaborating on the design and implementation of AI technologies to support and improve the editorial process.

Your Profile

Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology completed.
  • Enrolled in a university in Germany for at least another year.
  • Native-level German and fluent English as company language.
  • Joy in writing and strong language skills in written and spoken word.
  • Attention to detail and experience in research and fact-checking.
  • Sensitivity to present technical concepts and scientific findings from studies in a way that is easy to understand for a broad, non-expert audience.
  • Interest in editorial processes and digital tools (e.g. Confluence, CMS, Trello).

Nice to Haves
  • Experience writing psychological content for different audiences.
  • Additional qualifications like experience in counseling/coaching or medical/clinical environment.
  • Initial experience in a fast-paced work environment.

About Us

HelloBetter was founded in 2015 under the name GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. In over 30 randomized controlled trials, HelloBetter, in cooperation with various universities including Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Free University Amsterdam, Harvard University, and others, has developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight specific areas addressing both prevention and treatment of classic mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, or panic disorders, as well as topics like vaginismus or chronic pain.

Currently, six therapy programs from HelloBetter have been approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available for all insured adults free of charge on prescription. The work of the expert team has been published in international journals (including The Journal of the American Medical Association) and recognized with various awards (including the Wilhelm Exner Prize in Psychology 2016, EFPA Comenius Prize 2017, Digital Health Award 2018, EU Compass Good Practice 2018 in Mental Health).

The company has offices in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 staff.
