Your role
HelloBetter is a leader in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. As Team Lead Therapeutic Services (m/w/x) you will have both clinical and disciplinary responsibility for our psychologist team that provides written coaching to participants of our digital therapy programs. You will drive data-driven process optimization and ensure the highest quality standards in digital patient care.
Responsibilities
- Team leadership: Clinical and disciplinary management of a psychologist team, coordinating with other team leads, clinical supervisors and the VP Patient Relations to ensure consistent standards from onboarding to ongoing development.
- Process optimization: Data-driven management and optimization of service processes based on KPIs and user feedback.
- Project management: Independent responsibility for delivering complex projects to advance our psychological services.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Close cooperation with product teams, regulatory and other departments.
- Hands-on support: Active participation in coaching when needed (covering vacations, capacity bottlenecks, complex cases).
- Quality assurance: Ensuring the highest psychological standards in digital patient care.
- Strategic contribution: Shaping the long-term strategy for psychological services at HelloBetter.
Profile
Must haves
- Completed degree in Psychology (Master/Diploma) with above-average grades
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (not necessarily as a team lead, but with demonstrable responsibility in comparable roles)
- Willingness to take responsibility for a team
- Experience in project management with successful delivery of complex initiatives
- Affinity for data-driven work and making decisions based on metrics and analysis
- Solid expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with strong knowledge of evidence-based techniques
- Deep knowledge of the German healthcare system and its structures
- Experience working in dynamic, agile environments
- Ideally initial experience leading a team
- Coaching experience with resource-oriented approaches is an advantage

About us
HelloBetter (formerly GET.ON) was founded in 2015 by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. We have developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight problem areas in over 30 randomized controlled trials in collaboration with academic partners. Six of our therapy programs have been approved as digital health applications by the German BfArM and are available on prescription for insured adults. The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
