Team Lead Sales (m/w/d) – HelloBetter
HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For over 10 years, we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Six of our programs are approved as digital health applications and are available on prescription to insured adults in Germany.
Your role
As Team Lead Sales you will take operational leadership of a regional field sales team of seven (60% of your time) while also managing your own sales territory (40%). You will drive regional revenue growth through data-driven decision making, team leadership and active selling. The role offers significant ownership and scope to shape the company’s scaling.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own territory: build and maintain relationships with prescribers and relevant contacts through in-person and digital outreach (onsite/online meetings, phone, email, letters)
- Active sales management: develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Data analysis: perform data-driven analyses to continuously optimize efficiency and effectiveness of sales activities
- Coaching and team development: situational and participative leadership and coaching of the field sales team (e.g., field accompaniment, regular team meetings)
- Cross-functional collaboration: close partnership with Medical Marketing, Sales Ops and the management team
Profile / Requirements
Must haves:
- At least 3–5 years of successful field sales experience in the healthcare sector
- Initial experience leading sales teams, preferably field sales
- Solid understanding of the German healthcare market and compliance requirements
- Experience interpreting market data and KPIs
- Confident use of CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with high emotional intelligence
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken
- High flexibility for regular field travel
Nice to haves:
- Experience in digital health / HealthTech or startups
- Expertise in scaling sales teams
- Network in the German healthcare sector
- Experience with DiGA (digital health applications)
Benefits & working conditions
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
- Salary band: €60,000–€70,000 base + €40,000 bonus + VSOP (20% of annual base salary)
