Your Role
HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For over 10 years, we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental illnesses. Our applications cover various areas including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol consumption, panic disorders and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Currently, six out of ten HelloBetter applications are approved digital health applications, available free on prescription for all adult insured persons.

As a
Psychotherapist, you play a central role in our
Content Team contributing significantly to the development and improvement of our online therapy offerings and their communication. This position combines deep therapeutic expertise with product development and business understanding to advance our digital mental health solutions.

Your Tasks
- Innovative Content and Product Development: Continuous improvement of our online therapy offerings considering the latest scientific findings and innovations in product development.
- Creation and Communication of Professional Content: Conceptualizing content for different channels and target groups. This includes creating materials for patients, doctors, and psychotherapists, and presenting our online therapy programs on platforms like online CME trainings, professional congresses, and local professional events.
- Professional Consulting: Supporting cross-team projects and strategic decisions with your expertise in psychotherapy and clinical psychology, e.g., contributing to application preparation.
- Project Management: Independently leading and implementing cross-team projects.
- Development and Optimization of AI-supported Approaches: Contributing to the conception and implementation of AI technologies to support and improve our mental health offerings. This includes integrating AI tools and developing new innovative approaches for mental health care.
Your Profile
Must Haves- License as a Psychological Psychotherapist in behavioral therapy or in advanced training (practical activities already completed).
- Native-level German and fluent English as corporate language.
- Strong ability to make professional concepts understandable for various target groups.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with different teams and colleagues and achieve common goals.
- Interest in getting familiar with various digital tools (e.g. Confluence, CMS, Figma).
Nice to Haves- Experience in digital mental health.
- Interest in analyzing and preparing data (e.g., Metabase).
- Initial experience in a fast-paced work environment.

About Us
HelloBetter was founded in 2015 under the name GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs in eight specific problem areas through more than 30 randomized controlled trials in cooperation with Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Free University Amsterdam, Harvard University, and other partners, serving both prevention and treatment of classic mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, or panic disorders, but also topics like vaginismus or chronic pain. HelloBetter has the broadest study base among all providers.
To date, six therapy programs by HelloBetter are approved digital health applications by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and are available free on prescription for all insured adults. The expert team’s work has been published in international journals (e.g., The Journal of the American Medical Association) and recognized with various awards (e.g., Wilhelm Exner Award in Psychology 2016, EFPA Comenius Award 2017, Digital Health Award 2018, EU Compass Good Practice 2018 in Mental Health).
The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
