Contract: Part-time, 20-25 hours/week, spread over 5 days
Salary: Professional IC level L2: 50,000 - 67,000 EUR* (full-time basis) + VSOP (5% of annual gross salary)
*Based on the German reference framework, adjusted to local cost of living for remote positions
Work Organization: Remote-first company with offices in Berlin and Hamburg

Your mission

As HelloBetter introduces its digital health applications to the French market, this position offers a unique opportunity to participate in the early stages of our development. You will be at the heart of our growth strategy and play a crucial role in designing and developing our services to meet our users' needs.
Your part-time position (20-25 hours/week) offers great organizational flexibility. To ensure quick feedback to our patients, it is mandatory that every team member works every day of the week.

Your objectives

  • Online written coaching: As a main task and integral part of our digital health applications, you will send feedback in French, guiding patients in understanding the program and facilitating its customization.
  • Support Service: You will respond to patients' technical and organizational requests by phone and email. For more complex questions, you will efficiently redirect problems to our technical team. You will share patient feedback with internal teams to ensure continuous improvement of our solutions.
  • Participation as a study coach: You will act as a coach in scientific evaluation studies, contributing to research that validates our digital health solutions.
  • Supporting commercial activities: As we grow, you may be called upon to represent our products in demonstrations to prospects (companies, insurers) and potentially evolve towards patient support via phone or video calls (depending on needs and your development in the role).

Your profile

Essential skills
  • Title with RPPS number as clinical psychologist/psychotherapist in France or another French-speaking country OR diploma/in training as psychotherapist in Germany (cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic or systemic).
  • Excellent command of French and English, the latter being the language used for all internal communications outside the French team.
  • Practical experience in psychological support for French-speaking patients.
Additional assets
  • Experience in digital mental health, such as online support or coaching.
  • Additional training in cognitive-behavioral therapy.
  • Knowledge of German.

About us

HelloBetter was founded under the name GET.ON Institut für Online Gesundheitstrainings GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists in 2015. In more than 30 randomized-controlled studies, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs from eight specific problem areas in cooperation with multiple universities and partners. These programs serve both prevention and treatment of classic mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, or panic disorders, but also cover topics like vaginismus or chronic pain, giving HelloBetter the broadest study base of all providers.
Six therapy programs have been approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available free on prescription for all adults with health insurance in Germany. The expert team's work has been published in international journals and recognized with various awards.
The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
