Salary band:
- IC L2 (Mid-Level) 33,000 - 40,000 EUR per year for 25 hours/week part-time + VSOP (one-time 10% of annual gross salary)
- IC L3 (Senior) 36,000 - 45,000 EUR per year for 25 hours/week part-time + VSOP (one-time 15% of annual gross salary)
Remote policy: Remote-first culture with offices in Berlin and Hamburg
Your Role
HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our programs cover areas including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Six out of ten of our programs are approved as digital health applications and are available on prescription free of charge to insured adults.
As Psychological Supervisor you will be the clinical authority for our 40-person psychology team. Together with two other supervisors you will ensure our evidence-based work meets the highest clinical standards, support onboarding of new team members, and promote ongoing professional development. You will actively shape how digital psychological care is delivered in practice and ensure quality during scaling.
Your Tasks
- Serve as the clinical contact and advisor for all psychologists in the Services team on complex questions and challenging participants
- Ensure the clinical quality of our psychological interventions in the digital context
- Design and deliver onboarding programs for new psychologists
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions for psychologists on complex cases and methodological questions
- Develop clinical standards and best practices for digital therapeutics
- Provide clinical training on CBT techniques and digital interventions
- Collaborate with product teams to further develop our programs
- Coordinate closely with the other two supervisors and exchange with team leads
Your Profile
Must haves
- Degree in Psychology (Master/Diploma), with above-average grades
- Approbation OR advanced psychotherapist training in guideline procedures (ideally CBT)
- Substantial clinical experience treating common mental disorders (depression, anxiety disorders, burnout, sleep disorders)
- Deep knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy methods and evidence-based interventions
- Solid knowledge of the German healthcare system
Nice to haves
- Documented experience in supervision and/or mentoring psychologists or psychotherapists in training, ideally supervision training or certification
- Coaching experience with resource-oriented approaches is an advantage
- Experience in a startup environment

Interview Process
- 30 minutes: Screening interview with Lara (People Team)
- 120 minutes: Interview with Lara (VP Patient Relations) (60 minutes) followed by a case study (60 minutes)
- 30 minutes: Team interview
About Us
Founded in 2015 as GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight specific problem areas in over 30 randomized controlled trials in collaboration with universities and partners such as Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Free University Amsterdam and Harvard University.
Six of HelloBetter's therapy programs have been approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available on prescription to insured adults. Our expert team's work has been published in international journals and recognized with awards.
The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
