Salary Band: IC L2 (Mid-level): 56,000–66,000 EUR (gross, fixed) + one-time allocation of virtual shares equal to 10% of the initial annual gross salary

Your Role
HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our programs cover areas such as stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorders and anxiety, vaginismus and sleep disorders.
Six out of ten HelloBetter applications are currently approved as digital health applications and are available free on prescription to all adult insured persons.
In 2025 we launched Ello — HelloBetter’s AI companion for mental well-being that supports people around the clock with everyday challenges such as stress, worries and sleep problems via chat or voice messages.
To continuously improve the therapeutic quality of Ello and ensure that our users receive the best possible support, we are seeking a Clinical Project Coordinator.
As Psychological Research Project Manager you will be part of the development of one of Germany’s first AI companions for mental well-being. You will coordinate the implementation of our quality assurance and evaluation projects for Ello and ensure clinical standards are met at every development step.
Your Tasks
Project Coordination & Management
- Operational coordination of clinical quality assurance and evaluation projects
- Planning and monitoring project timelines and milestones
- Continuous process optimization and project development
- Acting as interface between Clinical Lead, Product/Engineering teams and operational implementation
Onboarding & Support of External Experts
- Organizing and conducting onboarding trainings
- Professional support and supervision of (external) experts during the project
- Recruiting new external experts if needed
Quality Assurance
- Systematic quality assurance of ratings and training conversations
- Monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement
- Developing manuals and quality standards
Reporting & Development
- Supporting analysis and interpretation of results
- Preparing reports and documentation for stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of clinical evaluation standards for AI-based mental health tools
Your Profile
Must Haves
- Completed degree in Psychology (Master/Diploma)
- Psychotherapist in training (PiA) or licensed psychotherapist
- Experience in clinical research projects, e.g. project coordination, data management, or study execution
- Solid knowledge in clinical psychology
- German at native level or C2 (mandatory)
- Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to Have
- PhD in Psychology with a focus on digital mental health (or equivalent)

About Us
HelloBetter (formerly GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH) was founded in 2015 by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. In cooperation with universities such as Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Harvard University and others, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight specific problem areas. Our programs address both prevention and treatment of conditions such as depression, anxiety and panic disorders, as well as topics like vaginismus and chronic pain.
Six therapy programs have been approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available free on prescription to all insured adults.
The company is headquartered in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
