Your Role
HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital healthcare. For more than 10 years, we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of psychological stress. Our applications cover various areas, including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol consumption, panic disorders and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
Currently, six out of ten HelloBetter applications are approved as digital health applications. They are available free of charge on prescription for all adult insured persons.
In your role as (Junior) Patient Support Manager, you will bring your communication skills and psychological expertise to ensure a positive start for our patients. Your task is to present even complex information clearly and, above all, convey it to our patients by phone.More insights into our Patient Support Team can be found on their team page in our HelloBetter Handbook.
Your Tasks
- Telephone contact with interested patients to participate in our online therapy programs
- Explanation of the process and functionality of our therapy programs
- Conducting a needs analysis to assess the suitability of our programs for the individual needs of patients
- Answering questions and concerns of potential patients related to our offerings
- Explaining the process for prescribing the programs and assisting with registration
- Supporting our registered patients with organizational or technical issues during their participation
Your Profile
- Completed bachelor's or master's degree in psychology
- Empathy and patience in communication with patients
- Independent, proactive, and organized working style
- Interest in the digitalization of healthcare
- Good technical understanding and willingness to learn various support and CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira)
- Native-level German speaking and writing skills and fluent English as the company language
- Good knowledge of the German healthcare system
- Experience with digital care offerings (e.g., digital health applications)
- Initial practical work experience in clinical psychology

About Us
HelloBetter was founded in 2015 under the name GET.ON Institute for Online Health Training GmbH by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. In over 30 randomized controlled studies, HelloBetter has developed and evaluated 10 online programs in eight specific problem areas in cooperation with Leuphana University, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Free University of Amsterdam, Harvard University, and other partners. These programs serve both prevention and treatment of common mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety or panic disorders, but also cover topics like vaginismus or chronic pain. Thus, HelloBetter has the broadest study base among all providers.
To date, six therapy programs from HelloBetter have been approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as digital health applications and are available free of charge on prescription for all insured adults. The work of the expert team has been published in international journals (including The Journal of the American Medical Association) and honored with various awards (including Wilhelm Exner Prize in Psychology 2016, EFPA Comenius Prize 2017, Digital Health Award 2018, EU Compass Good Practice 2018 in Mental Health).
The company is headquartered in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
