General information

Reports to: Marco Engelmann (Senior Team Lead Sales).
Talent Acquisition: Lara Wellmer (Junior Talent Acquisition Manager).
Contract type: Full-time, permanent.
Salary band: IC L1 Junior: €42,000 - €49,000 + €30,000 bonus + VSOP (one-off, 10% of annual base salary).

Your role

HelloBetter is a pioneer in digital mental health. For more than 10 years we have developed evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health challenges including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic and anxiety, vaginismus and sleep disorders.
Six out of ten of our applications are approved as digital health applications and are available on prescription free of charge to insured adults in Germany.
As Junior Inside Sales Manager you will build relationships with outpatient physicians and psychotherapists in Germany and raise awareness of our product and the Digital Healthcare Act (DVG). The role allows flexible remote work.

Your tasks

  • Daily proactive telephone outreach and maintenance of our network of prescribers and contacts, complemented by fax, mail and email.
  • Responsible for first contact and successfully arranging appointments between HCPs and Field and/or Inside Sales Managers.
  • Support the entire sales cycle in close collaboration with Field and Inside Sales teams.
  • Develop, implement, execute and evaluate sales measures for our psychological online therapy programs.
  • Attend nationwide specialist congresses, local physicians' network events and digital health conferences.
  • Manage and maintain your contacts in our HubSpot CRM, including data-driven analysis and optimization of your work's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing, Service and Content teams.

Your profile

Must haves
  • Initial experience in sales/business development or a role in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Independence, resilience and self-motivation, plus experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Empathy for the needs and goals of decision-makers in healthcare.
  • Confident use of digital applications and communication channels.
Nice to haves
  • Experience selling medical devices, pharmaceuticals or digital health products with ownership for sales targets and achievement of goals.
  • University degree in Communication, Business/Economics, Marketing or Psychology.
  • Experience selling to physicians and psychotherapists.

Interview process

  • 20 minutes: Screening interview with Lara (Junior Talent Acquisition Manager).
  • 90 minutes: Hiring manager interview + role play with Marco (Senior Team Lead Sales).
  • 30 minutes: Team interview with the Sales team.
  • 15 minutes: Meet-and-greet with Volker (Head of Sales).

HelloBetter (formerly GET.ON Institute for Online Health Trainings GmbH) was founded in 2015 by internationally recognized researchers and psychologists. In cooperation with leading universities, we have developed and evaluated 10 online programs across eight problem areas and have the broadest evidence base among providers. Six of our therapy programs are approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and are available on prescription to insured adults at no cost. The company is based in Berlin and Hamburg and employs more than 130 people.
