Field Application Specialist Role
The Field Application Specialist (FAS) acts as a trusted advisor and product expert, guiding customers through pre-sales consulting, product implementation, and ongoing support. This role involves travel to customer sites, building relationships, delivering training, and contributing to the company's mission to transform cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to support and close sales opportunities as a product technical expert.
- Implement Hedera Dx products in customer laboratories.
- Coordinate with the Machine Learning team to manage implementation deliverables.
- Serve as a local compliance expert aiding customers in achieving accreditations.
- Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and participate in conferences.
- Gather competitive market intelligence and contribute to product development with other departments.
Interactions
The FAS primarily interacts with teams in Sales, Marketing, R&D, Software Development, Machine Learning, RevOps, Supply Chain, QA/Regulatory Affairs, and customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supporting and implementing NGS-based diagnostic tests.
- Hands-on bench experience with NGS library preparation and capture protocols.
- Master's degree in Life Sciences; PhD is a plus.
- Willingness to travel over 50% of working time.
- Fluency in French and strong English skills.
- Knowledge in oncology; experience with circulating DNA or FFPE testing is bonus.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems and protocol implementation.
- Based in France.
