Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure that they are extremely successful with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. It is your responsibility to drive adoption through the network of referring physicians. You will work proactively with your accounts to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role with a primary focus on spending time with customers including Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and beyond. Expect approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway. Develop and execute business development plans working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, utilizing internal leadership, physician mentors, organizing events like dinner programs, VIP visits, road-shows, and physician office meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage within strategic accounts by maintaining/building relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and promoting Heartflow to build advocacy.
  • Performance evaluated based on metrics such as quota achievement, cCTA growth, and FFRct case growth in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement.
  • Experience in account development, preferably building/supporting clinical programs.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency and ability to learn and disseminate clinical/technical information.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders including cardiologists and referring physicians to drive awareness and deepen adoption.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to coordinate resources for customer support, sales, marketing, education, and training.
  • Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, excellent problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional etiquette.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.

Compensation

Base compensation range: $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible for variable/commission; total target compensation $200,000 - $215,000. Approximately 20-25% travel from home office.
