The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will represent Heartflow in a specific geographic area, working with customers to drive adoption of Heartflow’s cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role requires supporting, educating, and providing solutions to customers including Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other stakeholders, with approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
Drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathway within key strategic accounts by developing and executing business development plans with key account stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Heartflow's internal leadership, physician mentors, marketing, product development, CT Apps team, and clinical teams to support program development and sales efforts.
Increase usage by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value, and promoting the product to build advocacy.
Performance will be evaluated based on meeting quota, growth in cCTA and FFR_CT penetration, and revenue increase within assigned accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate clinical and technical information.
- Skill in developing relationships with key stakeholders across clinical and administrative roles.
- Ability to coordinate resources across sales, marketing, education, and training teams.
- Customer-focused mentality and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technologies preferred.
- Self-motivation and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and under pressure.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- Preferred degrees in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
- Preferred prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals or radiopharmaceuticals, hospital settings, or medical software.
- Highly desired experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals.
Compensation
The base compensation range is $125,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience. The role is eligible for variable/commission, with total target compensation of $200,000 - $215,000.
