Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM works with customers to ensure their success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role focuses on driving adoption through a network of referring physicians to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction. It is a customer-facing role with primary interaction with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others. Approximately 20-25% travel from a home office is expected.
Responsibilities
Drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway within key strategic Heartflow accounts, developing and executing business plans with key stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, including leadership and physician mentors, dinner programs, VIP visits, road-shows, office meetings, and collaboration with Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams.
Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition through presentations and discussions, promoting and championing Heartflow, and building advocacy.
Meet or exceed quota and drive cCTA growth and FFRct penetration in assigned accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
- Strong clinical/technical proficiency and ability to disseminate information to customers.
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders and drive awareness and adoption of Heartflow solutions.
- Cross-functional teamwork capabilities for program execution.
- Customer-focused mentality.
- Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability under pressure.
- Excellent work ethic and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience or Associate degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
- Preferred degree fields include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical disciplines.
- Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, medical software, or similar fields preferred.
- Experience with introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.
Compensation
Base compensation range is $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible for variable/commission with total target compensation between $200,000 - $215,000.
