Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure their success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. Responsibilities include driving adoption through the network of referring physicians and proactively supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role focusing primarily on spending time with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Approximately 20-25% travel from a home office is expected.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of the cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway by developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across the organization, including internal leadership, physician mentors, dinner programs, VIP visits, Heartflow CT Pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage within designated key strategic accounts by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and promoting Heartflow advocacy.
  • Performance evaluation based on meeting or exceeding quotas, cCTA growth, and FFRct penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills with a successful track record.
  • Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and disseminate new clinical/technical information.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key account stakeholders including administrative and clinical personnel.
  • Cross-functional teamwork to coordinate resources for customers and program execution.
  • Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving ability and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional etiquette.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or a 2-year degree with 7+ years related experience.
  • Preferred degrees include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
  • Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired.
  • Experience introducing cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.

Compensation

Base compensation range between $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible to earn variable/commission with total target compensation $200,000 - $215,000.
