Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) represents Heartflow in a specific geographic region. This role entails working closely with customers to ensure success using Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM drives adoption among referring physicians by supporting, educating, and providing solutions to foster high customer satisfaction. The role involves significant customer interaction including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and nurse practitioners, with approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of the cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway. Develop and execute business plans with key account stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Heartflow, leveraging internal leadership, physician mentors, marketing, market access, clinical teams, and others.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value, and advocating for Heartflow.
- Achieve performance metrics including meeting quota for strategic accounts and growth in cCTA and FFRct usage.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and building clinical programs is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and disseminate clinical/technical information.
- Ability to develop relationships with account stakeholders across administration, physicians, marketing, and strategic personnel.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills to coordinate resources and programs supporting customers, sales, marketing, and training.
- Customer-focused mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette.
- Ability to explain medical technologies to physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or a 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience.
- Preferred degrees include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
- Highly desired prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software sectors.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
Compensation
The base salary ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on geographic location and experience. The role is also eligible for variable commission with total target compensation between $200,000 and $215,000.
