Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) is the face of Heartflow within a specified geographic region. The TAM drives adoption of Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology by working with a network of referring physicians including Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners. The role involves proactive support, education, and solution provision to ensure high customer satisfaction. Approximately 20-25% travel is expected from a home office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRCT clinical pathways by developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Heartflow, involving internal leadership, physician mentors, and teams from marketing, market access, product development, and clinical departments.
  • Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value, and promoting advocacy.
  • Performance evaluation based on meeting/exceeding quotas, cCTA growth, and FFRCT penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills with a strong record of sales achievement.
  • Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency to learn and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including admin staff, cardiologists, referring physicians, and hospital personnel.
  • Cross-functional coordination skills for executing focused customer support and program development.
  • Customer-focused mentality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software industries highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.
