Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region, working with customers to ensure success with Heartflow’s cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role includes driving adoption through referring physicians, supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. It requires spending time with customers such as Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners with approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway in key strategic account regions.
- Develop and execute business development plans with key stakeholders in accounts.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration using internal leadership, physician mentors, and organize programs and road-shows.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships, educating customers, and promoting Heartflow.
- Meet/exceed quota and drive cCTA growth and FFRct penetration metrics in accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills and track record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and clinical program support preferred.
- Quick learner with clinical/technical proficiency to disseminate information.
- Develop relationships with key account stakeholders including physicians and hospital staff.
- Cross-functional team collaboration skills.
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic tech preferred.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and work ethic.
- Excellent communication and professional etiquette skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years related experience.
- Preference for degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
- Experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software preferred.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
