The base compensation range is $125,000 to $140,000 depending on location and experience, with additional variable/commission making total target compensation $200,000 to $215,000.
Job Description:
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) represents Heartflow in a specific geographic region and works with customers to ensure their success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role involves driving adoption through networks of referring physicians and providing proactive support, education, and solutions to build high customer satisfaction. The role includes approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans within key strategic Heartflow accounts to grow and adopt the cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway, working with account stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the organization, organizing programs such as dinner programs, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and physician meetings, working with Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and promoting Heartflow advocacy.
- Production and success are measured by meeting quotas, cCTA growth, and FFRct penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.
Skills Needed:
- Proven sales skills and sales achievement track record.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
- Clinical/technical proficiency with ability to learn and disseminate information rapidly.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of cCTA/FFRct pathway.
- Cross-functional coordination of resources for program development, sales, marketing, education, and training.
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
- Works well in cross-functional teams and communicates effectively.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or associate degree with 7+ years related experience.
- Preferred degree fields include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
- Experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software is highly desired.
- Experience introducing cardiovascular technologies in hospitals is highly desired.
