Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure that they are extremely successful with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. It is your responsibility to drive adoption through the network of referring physicians. You will work with your accounts proactively to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role with a primary focus on spending time with customers including Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and beyond. Expect approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway. Develop and execute business development plans working closely with the account’s key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, including leadership and physician mentors, organizing dinner programs, VIP visits, CT Pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage within the designated key strategic accounts by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and key clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and promoting Heartflow to build advocacy.
  • Meet and exceed quota for the strategic Heartflow accounts, focusing on cCTA growth and FFRct penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills and track-record of sales achievement.
  • Experience in account development and supporting strong clinical programs preferred.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency and ability to learn and disseminate clinical/technical information.
  • Develop relationships with key account stakeholders like cardiologists, referring physician practices, hospital marketing, and strategic personnel.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate resources for customers and program development plans.
  • Customer-focused mentality.
  • Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional etiquette.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or associate degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing or Technical field preferred.
  • Experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, hospital or medical software preferred.
  • Experience introducing cardiovascular technologies to hospitals highly desired.

Compensation

The base compensation range is $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible to earn variable/commission with total target compensation $200,000 - $215,000.
