The base compensation range is $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience, with potential variable/commission making total target compensation $200,000 - $215,000.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) represents Heartflow in a specific geographic area, working with customers such as cardiologists, primary care physicians, and nurse practitioners to promote and ensure success with Heartflow's cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM drives adoption through referring physicians and actively supports, educates, and builds high customer satisfaction, with approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways by developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across the organization, involving team members from sales, marketing, market access, CT applications, product development, and clinical departments for program development and customer support activities.
  • Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and key clinical stakeholders, educating on Heartflow's value proposition, and promoting the technology.
  • Achievement will be measured by meeting or exceeding quotas in strategic Heartflow accounts and increasing cCTA growth and FFRct case penetration over baseline in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills and a track record of sales achievement.
  • Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency to quickly learn and disseminate information.
  • Ability to build relationships with key account stakeholders including administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, and hospital marketing personnel.
  • Capability to coordinate cross-functional resources to support customers and execute program development plans.
  • Customer-focused mentality with the ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, excellent problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional etiquette.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing or Technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or medical software highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
