Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role involves driving adoption through the network of referring physicians and proactively supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This customer-facing role includes time spent with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others, with 20-25% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway by developing and executing business development plans with account stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration internally, including deploying leadership and physician mentors, organizing dinner programs, VIP visits, road-shows, and physician office meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage within designated accounts by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and key clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and building advocacy.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and drive growth in cCTA and FFRct usage and penetration within assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement.
  • Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency and ability to learn and disseminate new clinical/technical information.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders including cardiologists, referring physicians, and hospital personnel to drive awareness and broaden referrals.
  • Cross-functional coordination skills to support customers and execute program development plans.
  • Customer-focused mentality and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving ability, strong work ethic, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years related experience.
  • Preferred degrees in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
  • Desired prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software sectors.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.

Compensation

The base salary range is $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. The role is also eligible for variable/commission compensation, with a total target compensation (base plus variable) of $200,000 - $215,000.
