Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region, working to ensure customer success with Heartflow’s cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM drives adoption through the network of referring physicians, supporting and educating customers to build high satisfaction. This customer-facing role involves spending time with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others, with approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways, developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across the organization, organizing programs like dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and physician meetings, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams.
- Increase Heartflow usage in key accounts by maintaining relationships with referring physicians, educating customers on Heartflow’s value through presentations, and championing the product to build advocacy.
- Meet or exceed quotas and targets for cCTA growth and FFRct penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a strong record of achievement.
- Experience in account development, preferably with clinical program support.
- Clinical/technical proficiency and quick learning ability to convey information to customers.
- Relationship-building with key stakeholders including cardiologists, referring physicians, and hospital marketing.
- Cross-functional collaboration to support customers and execute programs.
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities and work ethic.
- Good communication and professional etiquette skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years related experience.
- Preferred degree fields include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical.
- Experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.
