The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure that they are extremely successful with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. It is your responsibility to drive adoption through the network of referring physicians. You will work with your accounts proactively to support, educate, and provide solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role with a primary focus on spending time with customers including Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and beyond. Expect approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway. Develop and execute business development plans working closely with the account’s key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, including deployment of Heartflow leadership, physician mentors, dinner programs, VIP Visits, CT Pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage in designated accounts by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and promoting Heartflow.
  • Meet and exceed quota for strategic Heartflow accounts, cCTA growth, and FFRct penetration/case growth over baseline.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement.
  • Experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred.
  • Quick learner able to grasp and disseminate clinical/technical information to customers.
  • Strong relationship development with key stakeholders including cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, and strategic personnel.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to support customers and execute program plans.
  • Customer-focused mentality.
  • Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and problem-solving ability under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional etiquette.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing or Technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.

Compensation

Base compensation range: $125,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience.
Eligible to earn variable/commission with total target compensation (base plus variable) of $200,000 - $215,000.
Approximately 20-25% travel expected.
