Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow in a specific region. The TAM engages with customers to ensure successful use of Heartflow's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology, driving adoption among referring physicians.
This customer-facing role involves working with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others, requiring about 20-25% travel based from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway by developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders in the account.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Heartflow, involving Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams.
- Increase Heartflow usage in designated strategic accounts by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow's value proposition through presentations and discussions, and championing Heartflow to build advocacy.
- Performance evaluation based on quota achievement in strategic accounts, cCTA growth, and FFRct case growth in assigned accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
- Clinical and technical proficiency, with the ability to quickly learn and disseminate clinical/technical information.
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders including administrative and clinical personnel to drive pathway awareness and increase referrals.
- Cross-functional team collaboration to support customers and execute program plans.
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and effective team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or Associate's degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience.
- Preferred degrees in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
- Desirable prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or medical software.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
Compensation
Base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on location and experience, with eligibility for variable/commission pay bringing total target compensation to $200,000 - $215,000.
