Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will work with customers to ensure they are extremely successful with Heartflow 27s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM is responsible for driving adoption through a network of referring physicians, supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This role involves approximately 20-25% travel from a home office. The customer-facing role focuses on interactions with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and more.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway, develop and execute business development plans with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Heartflow, deploying leadership, physicians, organizing educational events, and coordinating with marketing, market access, product development, and clinical teams.
  • Increase Heartflow usage in key accounts by maintaining relationships, educating customers on Heartflow's value, promoting advocacy.
  • Evaluate TAM performance based on metrics such as quota achievement, cCTA growth, and FFRct penetration/case growth in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills with a record of achievement.
  • Experience in account development and clinical program support preferred.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency to learn and disseminate information effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships with key account stakeholders across administrative and clinical personnel.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and customer-focused mentality.
  • Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivation, excellent problem-solving, strong work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience or 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience.
  • Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.

Compensation

Base compensation range between $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible for variable/commission with total target compensation $200,000 - $215,000.
