Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) acts as the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM works closely with customers such as Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners to ensure success with Heartflow's cardiovascular diagnostic technology. Responsibilities include driving adoption through referring physicians, supporting and educating customers, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. This role involves approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of the cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway by developing and executing business development plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Heartflow, organizing and staffing programs such as dinner programs, VIP visits, road-shows, and physician office meetings.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and championing Heartflow to build advocacy.
- Production success is evaluated by meeting/exceeding quotas in strategic accounts and increasing cCTA growth and FFRct penetration.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills and track record of achievement.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp and disseminate clinical/technical information.
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders including administrators, cardiologists, and physician practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to coordinate resources and support sales, marketing, education, and training.
- Customer-focused mentality and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred.
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software is highly desired.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
