Job Description

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) is the face of Heartflow in a specific geographic region, working with customers to ensure success with Heartflow’s cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The role involves driving adoption through the network of referring physicians, supporting, educating, and providing solutions for high customer satisfaction. It is a customer-facing role focusing on time spent with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others. Travel is about 20-25% from a home office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway, developing and executing business plans with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, organizing leadership, physician mentor programs, dinner programs, VIP Visits, road-shows, and meetings.
  • Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians, educating customers on Heartflow’s value, and promoting Heartflow to build advocacy.
  • Meet or exceed quotas for strategic accounts and achieve growth in cCTA conversion and FFRct case penetration in assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement
  • Experience in account development and clinical program support preferred
  • Clinical/technical proficiency and quick learning ability
  • Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders including clinicians and hospital personnel
  • Cross-functional coordination and customer-focused mentality
  • Ability to explain medical technologies effectively
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and work ethic
  • Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years or 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
  • Preferred degree fields include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical
  • Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospitals, or medical software is desired
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired

Compensation

Base salary range is between $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience. Eligible for variable/commission with total target compensation between $200,000 - $215,000.
