Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will represent Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM will ensure customer success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology and drive adoption through the network of referring physicians.
The role involves proactive customer support, education, and solution provision to build high customer satisfaction. This customer-facing role focuses on spending time with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others, with about 20-25% travel from a home office.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway+
- Develop and execute business development plans with account stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the organization, including organizing events and programs to support customer engagement
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and key clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on Heartflow’s value proposition through presentations and discussions
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and drive growth in case volume and penetration in assigned accounts
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills with a track record of achievement
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs preferred
- Clinical and technical proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and communicate complex medical information
- Strong relationship-building skills with clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Ability to work cross-functionally to coordinate resources and execute program plans
- Customer-focused mentality with ability to explain medical technologies
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is a plus
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years of experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software sectors highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired
Compensation
Base compensation range between $125,000 and $140,000 depending on location and experience.
Eligible for variable/commission with total target compensation (base plus variable) between $200,000 and $215,000.
