Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will represent Heartflow in a specific geographic region, ensuring customers are successful with Heartflow’s cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM drives adoption through referring physicians, supports, educates, and provides solutions for high customer satisfaction. This customer-facing role focuses on Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, etc., with approximately 20-25% travel from home.
Responsibilities
- Work with key strategic accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways by developing and executing business development plans with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the company, including leadership and physician mentors, program development, marketing, and clinical teams.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians, educating about Heartflow value, and promoting the product.
- Meet/exceed quota for strategic accounts, focusing on cCTA growth and FFRct penetration.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills and track record of achievement.
- Account development experience, preferably with strong clinical programs.
- Clinical/technical proficiency, quick learning, and customer education abilities.
- Relationship building with key stakeholders, including physicians and hospital personnel.
- Cross-functional teamwork and customer-focused mentality.
- Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and communication capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- 4-year degree with 5+ years or 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
- Degree preferred in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field.
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software preferred.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.
Compensation
Base compensation is between $125,000 - $140,000 depending on location and experience, with total target compensation including variable/commission of $200,000 - $215,000.
