Job Description
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will represent Heartflow in a specific geographic region, working with customers to ensure success with Heartflow's cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The TAM's role involves driving adoption among referring physicians by proactively supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build customer satisfaction. The position requires approximately 20-25% travel from a home office and involves customer-facing interactions with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of the cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway by developing and executing business development plans with account stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the organization using leadership, physician mentors, dinner programs, VIP visits, CT Pathway roadshows, and referring physician meetings.
- Increase Heartflow usage by maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders, educating customers on Heartflow's value, and promoting advocacy.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and drive growth in cCTA conversion and FFRct penetration in assigned accounts.
Skills Needed
- Proven sales skills and a track record of sales achievement.
- Experience in account development and supporting clinical programs.
- Quick learner with clinical/technical proficiency to educate customers.
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders, including administrative staff, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, and strategic personnel.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills to coordinate resources for program development and sales support.
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technologies preferred.
- Self-motivation, project initiation and completion skills, and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong work ethic and teamwork capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or associate degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- Preferred degree fields include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical disciplines.
- Highly desired experience includes medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software sectors.
- Experience in introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
Compensation
Base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on location and experience, with eligible variable/commission compensation making total target compensation between $200,000 and $215,000.
