Strategic Outpatient Imaging Account Manager

Job Description

The Strategic Outpatient Imaging Account Manager will be responsible for strengthening and developing customer relationships and driving patient growth. The Strategic Outpatient Imaging Account Manager will work with key clients at the executive, operational, and clinical level. They will also work with internal and external stakeholders to develop operational and sales strategies to drive growth. The success in this role will be measured by expanding the number of HeartFlow patients served within assigned clients, including HeartFlow FFRct and Plaque Analyses. The position focuses on strategic outpatient imaging centers and national cardiology and multispecialty practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for existing customers that will help same store sales growth.
  • Partner with HeartFlow Territory Account Managers (TAMs) in client territories to facilitate referrals and drive use of coronary CT, HeartFlow FFRct Analysis, and Plaque Analysis.
  • Partner with customers to train and educate client business development representatives on the CCTA pathway.
  • Facilitate referrals and drive use of HeartFlow products with client business development representatives.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategies to drive performance and growth in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to increase FFRct and Plaque order rates and execute strategies to improve order rates.
  • Establish relationships with customers throughout the organization at executive, physician, operational, and financial levels, and influence key decision makers.
  • Manage workflow improvement processes at customer sites with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal HeartFlow resources to address customer needs and opportunities.
  • Identify site or product expansion opportunities and assess client readiness, qualifying new product fit and identifying key opportunities and risk criteria for success.
  • Serve as an advocate for customer success within HeartFlow and be viewed as a trusted advisor by the customer.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with customers.

Skills Needed

  • Strategy and planning; relationship building.
  • Consultative sales approach.
  • Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement.
  • Account development with experience in building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or influence a cross functional team in a complex environment.
  • Understanding of outpatient imaging space and relationships with practitioners.
  • Channel sales experience.
  • Effective tracking, management, and communication of activities within defined areas.
  • Ability to understand and align with customer success drivers.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare imaging industry with increasing responsibility in field sales, strategic account management, consulting, product marketing, or medical/clinical experience in medical imaging.
  • Strong aptitude or understanding of clinical, business, and financial drivers of outpatient imaging.
  • Healthcare consulting experience related to new product adoption in medical imaging market preferred.

Physical Demands and Salary

The job requires up to 80% travel. The base salary range is $140,000 to $160,000, with a variable target of $100,000.
