Job Description

The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will lead the Territory Account Manager (TAM) team, fostering a culture of performance and accountability to transform the standard of care in diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD).
The RBM will hire, train, coach, and develop their territory account manager team to drive growth through specific critical behaviors. The TAM serves as Heartflow’s face within a geographic region, ensuring customer success with Heartflow’s non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. The RBM provides expectations, resources, and coaching to drive Heartflow adoption through referring physicians.
This role is customer-facing, focusing on direct sales team and customer engagement. Customers include cardiologists, internists, general practitioners, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants managing patients with ACS/CAD.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions for new opportunities.
  • Create innovative programs to disrupt traditional outreach to ordering physicians managing CAD patients.
  • Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways, developing and executing business development plans with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate organizational collaboration, including leadership and physician mentors, dinner programs, VIP visits, CT Pathway road-shows, and physician office meetings, working with teams across marketing, market access, product development, and clinical.
  • Increase Heartflow usage in designated accounts by maintaining relationships with referring physicians, educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition, and building advocacy.
  • Evaluate TAM performance based on meeting/exceeding quotas, cCTA growth, and FFRct case growth in assigned accounts.

  • Ability to hire, develop, manage performance, and promote talent.
  • Proven sales management skills and track record of achievement.
  • Account development and support of strong clinical programs.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency, quick learning, and dissemination of technical information to customers.
  • Relationship development with key stakeholders, driving awareness and adoption of cCTA/FFRct pathways.
  • Cross-functional coordination to support customers and execute plans with sales, marketing, education, and training.
  • Customer-focused mentality and knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred.
  • Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving, strong work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years related sales or clinical experience, or 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience.
  • Preferred degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field.
  • Highly desired prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software fields.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired.

Physical Demands

Up to 60% travel from home office is expected.
