Job Description

The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will lead and develop the Territory Account Manager (TAM) organization to advance the standard of care in diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD).
The RBM hires, trains, coaches, and manages TAMs to drive Heartflow product adoption through a network of referring physicians including cardiologists, internists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
This is a customer-facing role focused on spending time with the sales team and customers to support and grow business nationally across specified regions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions and innovative programming to reach physicians managing CAD patients.
  • Drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways in strategic Heartflow accounts through business development plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration using internal leadership, physician mentors, educational programs, and roadshows.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and key clinical stakeholders; educate customers on Heartflow's value.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and grow usage metrics within assigned accounts.

Skills Needed

  • Sales goal achievement, motivation, territory and performance management, relationship building, negotiation, planning, and profitability management.
  • Ability to hire, develop, and manage sales talent.
  • Proven sales management and account development experience including building clinical programs.
  • Clinical/technical proficiency to learn and communicate new information effectively.
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving, work ethic, communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.com.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or associate degree with 7+ years in sales or clinical experience preferred.
  • Preferred degrees include Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields.
  • Experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, or related fields highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is a plus.

Miscellaneous

Up to 60% travel from home office is expected.
