Frontend-leaning Fullstack Developer - Medical Imaging

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Participate with the rest of the team in release activities, as well as monitoring and supporting production.
Engage in cross-functional conversations with Product, Process Engineering, and other stakeholders for product design and clinical validations.
Occasional on-call duty and application deployment responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
3+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development.
Proficiency in Typescript or JavaScript.
Experience with modern web frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
Strong understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WebGL, three.js, or similar 3D graphics libraries.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Amazon Web Services) for web application deployment.
Experience with Python and C++.
Experience building regulated products such as Software as a Medical Device, complying with FDA regulations.

Compensation

Estimated base salary range: $130,000 to $200,000 (San Francisco Bay Area), plus cash bonus and equity.
