Job Responsibilities
The Director oversees Workforce Planning and Optimization, Operations Analytics, and Operations PMO. Responsibilities include:
- Analytics & Performance Management: Develop and implement analytics frameworks, establish KPIs, create dashboards, identify trends, predict outcomes, and provide strategic insights.
- Workforce Planning & Optimization: Lead strategic workforce planning, optimize staffing levels, implement forecasting models, collaborate with leadership and finance teams.
- Program & Project Management: Prioritize and track strategic initiatives, drive project execution, foster continuous improvement culture using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree in STEM, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline required; MBA or Master's preferred. Over 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or service operations, preferably in medical devices or regulated life sciences.
Skills/Qualities Required
- Expertise in long-term workforce planning, capacity modeling, cost optimization, and scheduling with tools like Verint, NICE, Aspect.
- Strong analytics skills with proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Domo.
- Project management expertise, PMP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information for senior executives.
- Data-driven decision-making capability.
- Strong collaboration skills across teams and departments.
Estimated base salary range is $210,000 to $260,000, including cash bonus and equity. The role is hybrid with on-site presence in Santa Rosa office required three days a week.
