Job Responsibilities
The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted partner and advisor to people leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management and compensation planning initiatives. The role requires strong business acumen, leadership, and the ability to influence and implement HR strategies supporting company growth objectives. Responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, supporting non-exempt and exempt employees, driving initiatives for organizational effectiveness including organizational design, change management, employee relations and succession planning, collaborating with the HR team to develop best practices, fostering a high-performance culture promoting employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, analyzing HR metrics to provide insights on workforce trends and organizational health, and ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards.
Skills Needed
Proven experience partnering with leaders to drive business results through HR strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking with understanding of HR best practices, experience with change management and managing employee relations matters, support of employees across Austin, TX, Mountain View, CA, and remote sites, and willingness to travel.
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required; Master’s preferred. 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR as an HR business partner or generalist.
Compensation
Estimated base salary $170,000 - $215,000, plus cash bonus and stock options.
