The Opportunity
Heartflow is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Brand & Marketing Communications. This role is critical for shaping and activating the Heartflow brand across all touchpoints, targeting both physicians and healthcare systems (B2B) and patients (Direct-to-Patient). The role offers the chance to build an iconic healthcare brand and lead innovative creative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand stewardship and activation across all marketing communications and audiences
- Strategic messaging and content development to translate complex technology and medical data into clear and compelling messaging
- Leadership of integrated marketing campaigns from planning to execution and evaluation
- Management of social media strategy and community engagement
- Cross-functional leadership to align brand communications with marketing, sales, product, and clinical teams
- Measurement and optimization of brand health, creative performance, and social media impact
- Management of external agencies and strategic communications consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferably business or science
- 10+ years of progressive brand marketing, advertising, and strategy experience in life sciences (medical device, pharma)
- Experience with both in-house and creative agency environments strongly preferred
- Proven communications strategy development for B2B and Direct-to-Patient audiences
- Data-driven mindset with ability to use quantitative and qualitative insights to guide strategy and measure success
- Portfolio of innovative creative initiatives
- Proven leadership experience with team mentoring and growth
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional partnerships
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and execution capability
Compensation
The estimated yearly base compensation range is $192,000 - $260,000, with additional cash bonus and equity. The position is hybrid, requiring some office presence.
