The Corporate Counsel assists the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer with managing legal affairs, including drafting and negotiating commercial and vendor agreements, commercial dispute resolution, regulatory and healthcare compliance, SEC compliance, corporate transactions and governance, and labor and employment issues.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts including customer, vendor, and license agreements; negotiating terms; providing legal advice on contracts; ensuring regulatory compliance; resolving contract disputes; collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams; assisting with SEC filings and corporate governance; and supporting HR with labor and employment issues.

Experience in in-house legal work in the healthcare industry; strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to manage multiple contracts and cross-functional work; familiarity with industry-specific contract regulations; advanced understanding of contract law and commercial terms; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in legal research and writing.

Educational Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, active or pending license to practice law, minimum one year of experience as a contracts attorney or similar role, experience with contract management software such as IronClad.
