Job Description

Customer Service Guides are tech-savvy, resilient, and passionate about helping others, serving as trusted voices for members and providers, guiding them through healthcare complexities with empathy and confidence.
Responsibilities include handling 30-40 calls a day, managing various communication channels (calls, chats, texts, emails, video, co-browsing), resolving calls within 6 to 8 minutes, navigating multiple systems simultaneously, ensuring accurate, timely, and empathetic solutions, educating customers on their plans, maintaining professional and thorough documentation, and following HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years of healthcare contact center experience and 3+ years of overall customer service experience. An Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience in multi-channel customer service is required, along with tech-savviness, strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills, and a calm, empathetic professional presence in high-volume situations.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time. This is a temporary 12-week role for 40 hours per week. The role offers growth opportunities into Quality, Client Success, Claims, Utilization Management, Referrals, Intake, and Healthguide (Medical Assistant) roles.

Guidehealth operates fully remotely with comprehensive benefits for full-time employees working 30+ hours per week. The compensation range is hourly between USD 21 and USD 22, paid bi-weekly. Final pay depends on skill set, experience, education, location, and certifications.
