The Role:
We’re hiring a Head of Consultant Relations to lead and scale our benefits consultant & broker channel. You’ll report directly to the CEO – owning pipeline targets, growing the consultant partnerships team, and scaling our most successful channel on the path to $100M+ ARR.
You’ll operate at multiple levels: defining strategy, building a small team over time, shaping our presence in the market, and cultivating executive-level relationships with major partner firms.
What You’ll Do
- Own consultant pipeline and results: drive pipeline growth, enable our partners to bring in and retain customers
- Define strategy: build and evolve consultant strategy, grounded in a sharp POV on industry trends and opportunities
- Own strategic partnerships: build executive relationships, lead negotiations; represent Goodpath at key industry events
- Drive partner programs: define and drive execution of programs that deepen mutual value with each consultant partner
- Instill a performance culture: set targets, learn from results, raise the bar with data
- Help shape our GTM: Partner across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success to build a unified strategy and presence with benefits consultants
- Lead a top-tier partnerships team: hire and develop Partner Managers - define their playbook and coach them to success
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ years in employer health benefit consultant space; including 6+ managing top-performing teams
- Early-stage builder: you thrive in ambiguity and create structure from scratch
- Deep relationships across top benefits consultant firms
- High EQ, clear communicator, team-first mindset
- Experience crafting and executing a consultant channel strategy
- Data-driven operator who loves coaching the frontline
