Senior Manager, GTM (Go‑to‑Market)

Position Overview

Fortune is seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven Senior Manager, GTM (Go‑to‑Market) to join the Integrated Marketing team. The role supports the Fortune Sales organization in driving advertising and partnership revenue across digital, events, video, podcast, print, and social. The Senior Manager will be involved in the pre‑sales process for ad‑based marketing partnerships from ideation through proposal submission and will work to align proposals with revenue goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Team members play a key role in driving ad sales growth by developing and communicating integrated marketing solutions that leverage Fortune’s full suite of media assets.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Support development and execution of GTM strategies and positioning for advertising and brand partnership initiatives, coordinating planning across Sales, Product, and Editorial.
  • RFP Management: Manage end‑to‑end pre‑sales processes including RFP responses, custom proposal development, and sales narrative creation, delivering insight‑driven materials aligned with client objectives.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate on conceptualization and pitching of creative, insight‑driven marketing programs that align Fortune’s editorial authority with client goals.
  • Data & Insights: Use audience data (e.g., Ipsos) to analyze and craft compelling sales stories.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Editorial, Account Management, Activation, Product, and Fortune Brand Studio to coordinate brainstorms, kickoff meetings, and program development.
  • Operations Support: Assist with managing marketing and sales materials across internal systems (SharePoint, DAM) ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control.

Professional / Personal Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of marketing experience in a media organization or agency, ideally across multiple platforms, digital media and advertising categories.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and analytics platforms.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate market insights into actionable go‑to‑market plans.
  • Collaborative & Entrepreneurial: Flexible, proactive, strong sense of ownership in dynamic cross‑functional environments.
  • Effective Communicator: Clear, concise communicator who can develop high‑impact sales materials quickly.
  • Project Ownership: Highly organized and process‑oriented with strong project management skills from ideation to execution.

Location & Reporting

This position is based in New York, NY and reports to the Director, GTM.

Salary Range

Base pay range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year (good‑faith estimate; final offer will depend on skills and experience).
