Salesforce Administrator

About the Role

Fortune is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator to oversee and manage the Salesforce ecosystem across the UK and EU regions. This role will lead system integration, workflow automation, data governance, and user enablement to ensure Salesforce supports sales, marketing, and operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Salesforce configuration, a strong understanding of business processes, and experience supporting multi-region operations with a focus on scalability, compliance, and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full Salesforce CRM setup, administration, and optimisation across the UK & EU regions.
  • Manage end-to-end system integrations with marketing, event, and analytics tools (for example, SFMC, Cvent, Zoom).
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain custom objects, validation rules, workflows, Flows, and approval processes.

Data Management & Governance

  • Maintain data quality through regular audits, deduplication, and enrichment activities.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance across all Salesforce operations, including consent management and regional data handling.
  • Implement and document data governance frameworks for multi-country operations.

Workflow & Automation

  • Design and optimise workflow automations and approval processes to support sales and marketing efficiency.
  • Manage assignment rules, email alerts, and process automation to streamline business operations.
  • Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain custom dashboards and reports to track key metrics (pipeline, conversion, engagement).
  • Transition static reporting into dynamic Salesforce dashboards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making across teams.

User Management & Training

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce point of contact for UK & EU users.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permission sets in alignment with data security policies.
  • Deliver training sessions and user guides to enhance adoption and best practices across teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Salesforce administration experience, including system integration and automation workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and familiarity with Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce objects (Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Campaigns).
  • Proven experience managing multi-region CRM environments with GDPR compliance.
  • Unrestricted work rights in the UK.
  • Skilled in data import/export, deduplication, and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience with automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Assignment Rules).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required).
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (preferred).
  • Experience integrating tools such as Cvent, Zoom, Zapier, or Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Familiarity with SQL and API-based integrations.
  • GDPR or Data Privacy Certification.
